• Louisiana Surplus Lines

The Louisiana Surplus Line Association was established in 1958 as a vehicle to promote communication, education and professionalism within the Louisiana surplus line community.
  • Join us!

Originally, only persons who held Louisiana surplus lines licenses were eligible for membership in the Association. The Association's by-laws were amended in 1981 and 1988, to permit persons or companies, who are interested in or deal with surplus line business, to join the Association.
  • A rich history

Since 1958, the Association's membership has grown from a handful of "pioneers" in the business to an active organization of more than one hundred individuals and companies. If you are a licensed surplus lines broker, use surplus lines facilities, or deal in any way with surplus lines business, you should become a member of the Louisiana Surplus Line Association!
