Louisiana Legislature will recess amid coronavirus concerns
BATON ROUGE — Louisiana's Legislature will recess today amid coronavirus concerns until March 30 or March 31, multiple lawmakers confirmed.
"It's the right decision," said House Speaker Pro-tem Tanner Magee, R-Houma.
The recess comes only hours after House Speaker Clay Schexnayder, R-Gonzales, said legislators would "soldier on" with the session.

To convene at noon on Monday, March 9, 2020.
